Summer Jazz Festival at Piwnica Pod Baranami is organized by Foundation My Polish Heart and Cracovia Music Agency

Foundation My Polish Heart,  was founded thanks to the need of heart of its two founders - Adzik Sendecki and Witold Wnuk. Since 1980’s both of them have worked abroad creating and promoting their native music. After many years they met again and started to work together.

The great come back to Krakow of Adzik Sendencki was marked by an unusual concert accompanied by NDR music band which took place at the little square in Krakow on July 18th 2009 during The Jazz Night organized by Witold Wnuk. That concert also turned out to be an inspiration for setting up the Foundation.

The main aim of this foundation is support (of well-deserved Polish artists, in a form of scholarships, prizes, whose life situation is hard as well as help for young, remarkably gifted musicians. Besides that kind of help, foundation is going to organize concerts and artistic events which promote Polish music and create new kind of art with the cooperation of prestige centers of culture in Europe and all over the world.

Cracovia Music Agency,  a company established by Witold Wnuk* in 1995, is a firm for management of music events and publishing CD records. Since 1996 the company has organized annual Summer Jazz Festival at the Piwnica Pod Baranami in Kraków. The CMA publishes CD records mostly jazz.

The last success is a three part set " The Best of Cracow Jazz"(traditional jazz, contemporary jazz and archival recordings) presenting the best achievements of Krakow jazz during last 50 years.

In July of year 2000 the CMA organized in the Krakow 2000 Festival framework a special concerts "Masters of jazz" with world stars : Pierre Blanchard, Rachel Z., Urszula Dudziak, Leni Stern, Yuri Yunakov and others.

The CMA activities are concentrating on promotion of Polish music and marking of Krakow as a big culture center in Europe.
